Bismarck Middle School CTE Exploration

The Middle School CTE Exploration is designed to allow students exposure and inquiry into the various program areas at the 6-8 grade level. This new model for the district creates an incredible hands-on learning experience to engage kids in a variety of existing and emerging skillsets in a neighborhood educational model. The design of the Middle School Exploration Program and implementation of the Neighborhood concept is intentional in simplifying the wayfinding as well as create internal communities of 125-150 students.  This scale supports the development of stronger relationships in student to student as well as student to teacher which creates a safer and welcoming learning environment for the middle school learner.

BNDRY Studio Roles:

Scott Krenner - Lead Project Designer, CTE Planning

Tyler Whitehead - CTE Programming and Planning

The program was strategically deployed to take advantage of existing spaces that would enhance the neighborhood CTE concept.
